TRM Equine Nutrition, the leading manufacturer and distributor of nutritional feed supplements and healthcare products for horses in Europe, has reaffirmed its partnership with Naas Racecourse for the upcoming flat season. The collaboration will see TRM sponsoring six races, following a successful association last season.
The announcement of the continued sponsorship was made on Tuesday morning at Michael O’Callaghan’s stables. TRM hosted a breakfast for all staff members to commemorate their outstanding performance, having secured the highest number of Best-Turned-Out Awards at the county Kildare track last season.
In addition to the sponsorship, TRM disclosed that they would once again conduct the Best-Turned-Out League and Trainer's League throughout the 2024 turf season.
The leading flat trainer at Naas can anticipate receiving €3000 worth of TRM supplements, with €2000 for the runner-up and €1000 for the second runner-up. Furthermore, the winners of the Best-Turned-Out League will receive a €1000 voucher for the TRI Equestrian Store, along with breakfast delivered to the yard as a token of appreciation for the team's hard work.
TRM's commitment extends to acknowledging all connections of the horse, as they will provide winning trainers and breeders of the supported races with TRM supplements valued at €500 each.
Additionally, a new initiative for the season includes an owner’s hamper worth €200, open to all owners with a runner at Naas on race day, offering them a chance to win even if their horse doesn't triumph on the track.
Michael O’Callaghan, the Trainer, expressed his gratitude at the launch, praising TRM and Naas Racecourse for their recognition of the dedication shown by his team. Enda Kelly, TRM's Chief Commercial Officer, reiterated the company's excitement at sponsoring Naas once again in 2024.
Kelly highlighted the significance of supporting trainers, stable staff, and owners, emphasising the vital role they have played in TRM's success over the past 35 years.
The first of the six races supported by TRM is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 24th March, marking the opening flat meeting of the season at Naas Racecourse.
