Inisherin is one of the 13 horses confirmed for Saturday's My Pension Expert July Cup at Newmarket. The three-year-old, trained by Kevin Ryan, has been impressive since returning to sprinting after a creditable run over a mile in the 2000 Guineas.
Inisherin defeated the previously unbeaten Vandeek in the Sandy Lane at Haydock and followed it up with an easy win in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot. Vandeek is set to challenge him again after missing Ascot due to a minor setback.
Clive Cox's Jasour, who finished third behind Inisherin in the Commonwealth Cup, as well as Aidan O'Brien's Military and River Tiber are other three-year-olds in the mix. Charlie Hills has entered both Khaadem and Mitbaahy, both owned by Fitri Hay, with Khaadem winning the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes last month.
Ralph Beckett's Kinross, Jane Chapple-Hyam's Mill Stream, Tim Easterby's Art Power, Ed Bethell's Regional, Karl Burke's Swingalong, and Charlie Fellowes' Vadream complete the list of entries for the race. The northern challenge is strengthened by the inclusion of Art Power and Regional.
