Treble Tee Shines in Newmarket Debut

Treble Tee, trained by Simon and Ed Crisford, made an impressive start to his career with a dominant win at Newmarket on Wednesday. The son of Persian King, well-supported at 100-30, triumphed in the Aston Martin Novice Stakes, leaving a lasting impression.

Ridden by James Doyle, Treble Tee was always prominent and pulled away decisively in the closing stages, defeating Mudbir, trained by John and Thady Gosden. Following his victory, the colt earned a 33-1 quote from Paddy Power for the 2000 Guineas.

"It looked like a strong race beforehand, and he performed brilliantly," said Ed Crisford. "He travelled smoothly, quickened nicely, and did everything you'd want from a debutant. Despite being drawn wide, he handled it well and put the race to bed confidently."

Crisford expressed optimism about Treble Tee’s future, saying, "He’s got a bright future, and we’ll put him away now to see how he winters. Winning like that opens up plenty of options, and I believe he’ll handle longer distances in time."

In the opening Prestige Vehicles Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes, Hugo Palmer's Misty Sky secured her first win at odds of 4-1, after four previous attempts.
