You Got To Me is set to compete in the Yorkshire Oaks

Irish Oaks winner You Got To Me is set to compete in the Yorkshire Oaks next month, which could pave the way for a run in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe this autumn. Trained by Ralph Beckett, the filly began her season with a win at the Lingfield Oaks Trial before finishing fourth at Epsom and in the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot.

With stablemate Bluestocking targeting the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes, You Got To Me is aiming for York on August 22. Racing adviser Alex Elliott noted that this race will be a test against older fillies, mentioning the potential competition from Emily Upjohn and the importance of the track for her performance.

You Got To Me's success in the Irish Oaks marked a significant milestone for owner Anthony Ramsden, bringing early Classic glory in their ownership journey. It also represented a first Classic win for jockey Hector Crouch, praised for his consistent performance with the team.
