With a triple challenge for national awards, Gavin Cromwell is getting ready to compete

Trainer Gavin Cromwell is considering bringing together last year's runner-up Vanillier, Cheltenham Festival champion Limerick Lace, and the talented Malina Girl for a powerful attack on the Randox Grand National.

Vanillier, with his impressive form in previous races, has consistently demonstrated his ability to come from behind and secure a strong finish. His past successes, such as his impressive position behind Corach Rambler and his second-place finish in the Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse, are a testament to his capabilities and should instil confidence in his potential for the Randox Grand National.

The grey horse has already proven his worth by winning the 2021 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. Trainer Cromwell is confident that the horse will put on another impressive performance at Aintree next Saturday.

Trainer Cromwell's confidence in Vanillier's performance is unwavering. He expressed, "He's performing well, and I'm pleased with his progress. He has shown improvement since the Bobbyjo race." This reassurance should bolster the anticipation of the horse's fans.

I wish the rain would cease so that the ground doesn't become overly challenging. A slight reduction in moisture would be beneficial.

"Considering his previous performance, he emerged victorious in the Albert Bartlett during the pleasant spring season, benefiting from favourable ground conditions. We believe that he thrives under such circumstances."
