White Birch and Auguste Rodin are going to meet again at Ascot
White Birch and Auguste Rodin are both set to face off once again in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot this Wednesday.
Despite Auguste Rodin winning last season's dual Derby races, White Birch has been dominating this season by winning all three of his races. However, bookmakers have still pegged Auguste Rodin as the favourite, anticipating a strong performance following the Tattersalls Gold Cup.
Several French contenders such as Horizon Dore, Zarakem, and Blue Rose Cen will be in the mix alongside other strong contenders like Lord North, Alflaila, and Inspiral.
In the Duke of Cambridge Stakes, James Tate's Royal Dress has been added as a late entry after a close third-place finish at Epsom, while Breege, last year's winner, is also in the mix.
The Queen Mary race promises a competitive field with top contenders like Burning Pine, Fairy Godmother, and Kassaya. In the Queen's Vase, 17 runners including Highbury, Sayedaty Sadaty, and Defiance are expected to put on a show.
A massive field of 66 runners will compete in the Royal Hunt Cup, with last year's runner-up Sonny Liston leading the weights. Other strong contenders like Ouzo, Holloway Boy, and Notre Belle Bete are also expected to put up a strong challenge in the race.
