Kevin Ryan is confident that Washington Heights can compete with the best sprinters in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. The improving four-year-old recently won the Abernant Stakes and finished closely behind Mill Stream in the Duke of York Stakes. This will be his first run at the highest level, but Ryan, who has experience with top sprinters like Brando, Glass Slippers, and Hello Youmzain believes Washington Heights is ready for the challenge.
Owned by Hambleton Racing, Washington Heights has been a source of joy for his owners, who are excited about his Group One debut. The team is looking forward to supporting him at Ascot and creating more special memories, whether he wins or not.
Hambleton will also have two other runners at the meeting - Tempus and Beamish, trained by Archie Watson. Tempus will compete in the Royal Hunt Cup, while Beamish will run in the Copper Horse Handicap. Both horses are in good form and Watson is hopeful they will perform well at Ascot. With a strong team behind them, Hambleton is looking forward to a successful outing at Royal Ascot.
