Varian is expecting a good performance from Elmalka

Roger Varian is wary of the tough competition in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, where Elmalka aims to continue her winning streak after triumphing in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. The Kingman filly stunned the field at Newmarket, coming from last to first to secure victory. Although she finished third in her seasonal debut at Newbury, Elmalka showed significant improvement at Newmarket. Varian chose to skip the Irish Guineas to give her a break before Ascot.

While Folgaria, Porta Fortuna, and Ramatuelle will challenge Elmalka at Ascot, Varian is confident in his filly's form. He believes she is in excellent shape and getting stronger. Expecting a good performance from Elmalka, Varian is hopeful for success at Ascot.

Opera Singer, who won three times as a juvenile, poses a serious threat to Elmalka after a strong performance at the Irish Guineas. Despite missing out on Classic glory, jockey James Doyle is eager for redemption at Ascot.

Aidan O’Brien is pleased with Opera Singer's progress and believes she will be in top form for Ascot. Meanwhile, Francis-Henri Graffard has chosen Royal Ascot over the French Oaks for Rouhiya, the surprise French 1000 Guineas winner.

Oisin Murphy, who rides Ramatuelle for the first time, anticipates a competitive race with strong contenders like the Guineas winners and Opera Singer. Despite not winning at Newmarket, Ramatuelle's impressive performance puts her in contention for victory at Ascot.
