Uxmal`s triumph at Killarney
In Killarney, Joseph O'Brien's Uxmal won the final Outlook Publications Race with great ease.
Dylan Browne McMonagle sent him about his business a couple of furlongs from home. He was another horse to dominate off the front.
Approaching the last furlong, the 11/8 second favourite pulled away and was eased in to win by four and a quarter lengths. Enjoy The Dream (11/1) took the position of runner-up.
Regarding the 106-rated victor, Browne McMonagle remarked, "He did it well - he jumped and nobody bothered me in front and he loved it. He pricked his ears around every bend and he enjoyed the turning track. He quickened up well when I asked him and is only going to get better. He will have no problem stepping up into Group company now, I'd imagine, and is definitely a fun horse for the year."
