Curragh and Ayr are potential races for Time For Sandals

Harry Eustace is optimistic about Time For Sandals after her strong performance in the Lowther Stakes at York, where she finished just a neck behind Celandine. Following a winning debut at Kempton and a close third in the Super Sprint Stakes, Eustace is considering her next steps, with potential races at the Curragh and Ayr on the horizon.

Eustace noted, "She ran well for her first black-type race, and with a bit more experience, she could have fared even better. We’ll decide between the Super Auction Sales Stakes and the Firth of Clyde or another black-type race."

Looking ahead, Eustace plans to test her over seven furlongs in a trial to see if she’ll stay further or continue at six furlongs.

Regarding Docklands, who raced in the Juddmonte International, Eustace said, "He handled the mile and a quarter well and will now head to Melbourne for the Cox Plate. We have entries for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and Champion Stakes as backups if needed."

Divine Comedy also performed admirably at York, finishing fourth in the Stayers Handicap. Eustace is targeting the Irish Cesarewitch for her next run, citing its substantial prize money and suitability for her style, with the Doncaster Cup as a possible alternative.
