The Wexford meeting rearranged for the following Wednesday
Horse Racing Ireland has recently revealed that the Wexford gathering, originally planned for Sunday, March 17, but was called off due to excessive water on the track, has now been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 27.
The deadline for entries for this event is set for noon on Thursday, March 21, with declarations to participate required by 10 am on Monday, March 25.
Further information regarding the race program will be disclosed later today.
In light of the abandonment of the three sprint races at Naas on Sunday because of unfavourable ground conditions, two additional races have been added to the lineup on the circular course.
The King Of Change At Compass Stallions Handicap is a handicap race for three-year-old horses with ratings ranging from 47 to 70. On the other hand, the NSL Investments Handicap is open to four-year-olds and above with ratings between 47 and 65.
Both races will be contested over a distance of seven furlongs.
