The Strikin Viking will race under the colours of Wathnan Racing
The Strikin Viking, a colt named after Manchester City star Erling Haaland, will be racing under the colours of Wathnan Racing in his next start. The colt was recently transferred to the Qatari-based operation and their trainer, Hamad Al-Jehani, after previously being trained by Kevin Ryan and owned by Middleham Park Racing.
The son of Inns Of Court impressed with a debut win at York and a strong second-place finish in the Group Two Railway Stakes. Wathnan Racing is thrilled to have acquired such a high-class two-year-old, adding to their team in Newmarket.
Richard Brown of Wathnan Racing expressed gratitude to Kevin Ryan and Middleham Park Racing for their work with The Strikin Viking, and praised Hamad Al-Jehani's promising start in Newmarket. The team is excited to support Al-Jehani with the addition of The Strikin Viking, expecting the colt to provide plenty of excitement in future races.
