The Jockey Club establishes transatlantic connections to cover significant races

An innovative concept could result in the champions of two prominent American races making their way to England during the summer and, conversely, English winners venturing to America.

The Jockey Club has joined forces with 1/ST, a North American racing and pari-mutuel wagering company, to enhance the global recognition of all races in the collaboration by expanding the roster of participants from the US to the UK and vice versa.

Victorious American participants in two significant races this spring are granted automatic qualification for the prestigious Coral Eclipse at Sandown and the esteemed My Pension Expert July Cup at Newmarket, both of which are esteemed Group One events hosted by the Jockey Club during the summer season.

The winners of the Eclipse and July Cup will also receive exciting opportunities to participate in two prestigious North American competitions in September, complete with incentives for travel and entrance.
