Trainer Ben Pauling is eyeing the addition of Sixmilebridge to his esteemed team for the highly anticipated Cheltenham Festival next month.
After an impressive debut at Sandown, Pauling, who is nearing the remarkable milestone of 50 wins this season, is considering several promising prospects for the grand event in the Cotswolds. Among his strong contenders in the novice hurdle division are Fiercely Proud and The Jukebox Man, both with notable placements in graded company.
Additionally, the unbeaten Handstands and dual winner Tellherthename face crucial tests this week. Sixmilebridge, previously unraced under rules, delivered a commanding victory at Sandown's bumper finale, positioning himself as a potential contender for the prestigious Champion Bumper. Pauling expressed utmost admiration for the horse's impressive performance during training and emphasised his mental attitude, travelling prowess, and dedication to the job.
