September Leaves (2/1f) lived up to her name with a victory at Gowran, claiming the Support The Irish Injured Jockeys Fund Handicap in first-time blinkers for trainer Jessica Harrington.
Under Shane Foley, the Moyglare Stud-owned filly, a daughter of Night Of Thunder, won by a short head from Gandolfo, marking a successful follow-up to her previous win at Limerick in June.
Kate Harrington, speaking on behalf of her mother, said: "She’s been knocking on the door in her recent runs, so it’s great to see her finally get her head in front again. She’s entered the new HKJC World Pool Autumn Fillies Handicap on Champions Weekend, but with bottom weight and a potential penalty, we may need a few withdrawals to secure a spot. It would be fantastic if she could get in as she thrives on fast ground and loves Leopardstown."
