Seagulls Eleven will be a promising contender in the Solario

Seagulls Eleven, owned by a group of Brighton and Hove Albion players including James Milner and Danny Welbeck, put on an impressive performance in the Superlative Stakes at Newmarket. The colt, sporting the club's blue and white stripes, could be a promising contender in the upcoming Virgin Bet Solario Stakes.

After a successful win at Haydock, Seagulls Eleven entered Group Two company at the July Course and gave a tough challenge to Charlie Appleby's Ancient Truth. Trainer Charlie Palmer expressed optimism about the horse's potential for future races such as the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf and Doncaster's Futurity Trophy.

Palmer mentioned that Seagulls Eleven may race at Sandown on August 31, with the Solario Stakes as a possible target. The trainer also discussed the colt's ability to handle longer distances and hinted at a potential start in Classic company next season.
