Rosallion proved that he is the best horse Hannon`s ever trained

In the highly-anticipated St James's Palace Stakes, Rosallion emerged victorious against two other 2000 Guineas winners, confirming Richard Hannon's belief that he is the best horse he has ever trained.

Despite a setback in the Guineas at Newmarket, Rosallion bounced back with a win over stablemate Haatem in the Irish Guineas before facing a strong field at Royal Ascot.

Under the guidance of jockey Sean Levey, Rosallion (5-2) overcame a tricky position behind horses to unleash a powerful burst of speed, chasing down Henry Longfellow and Ryan Moore for the win. Henry Longfellow finished a close second with Metropolitan in third, while the favourite, Notable Speech, failed to make an impact.
