Rebel Diamond secured a victory at Fairyhouse

Rebel Diamond (4/1) secured a hat-trick of victories by winning the Ballyhane Blenheim Stakes at Fairyhouse under Billy Lee.

The Cotai Glory colt turned for home in fifth place among the seven runners and made a strong move to take the lead entering the final furlong, ultimately holding off One Smack Mac by three-quarters of a length.

Trained by Natalia Lupini for Nigel O'Hare, her partner Craig Bryson remarked, "He's progressing well; he won impressively in Cork, and quick ground is essential for him."

"It was a nice race today, and he seemed to win easily. We’re very pleased with him. He has a great attitude, travels well, and quickens effectively. Billy said he won comfortably, and we believe there’s more to come from him."

"We'll assess his condition after this, but he’s probably had enough racing this year. He might be for sale, so this win is a nice opportunity."
