Sir Mark Prescott's mare Tiffany is targeting the JenningsBet In Delves Hoppings Fillies’ Stakes following a successful outing at Baden-Baden recently.
The four-year-old, sired by Farhh, has been carefully managed, making just one appearance at the end of her juvenile season. Last year, she was more active and impressed with four victories out of seven starts, concluding with a Listed win over 10 furlongs at Hanover.
Her performance in the Racing League at Windsor was notable, finishing a close second to Spirit Dancer, who went on to win the Strensall Stakes, the Bahrain International Trophy, and most recently the Neom Turf Cup.
This year, Tiffany kicked off her campaign in Germany, competing in another Listed race at Baden-Baden over a mile and three furlongs in late May. Guided by Luke Morris, she showcased improvement, securing a convincing four-and-a-half-length victory.
Dan Downie of owner-breeder Elite Racing Club commented on her recent form, saying, "It was a positive step up from last year, which was our hope for her. The JenningsBet In Delves Hoppings Fillies’ Stakes has been on our radar since then, and despite its usual competitiveness, the field doesn’t seem as tough as expected, so she’s likely to run."
"Tiffany has shown promising form, and everything seems to be falling into place. She's a filly we've always had high regard for, and we've taken our time with her development. We'll assess her performance in this upcoming race before making further plans; much will depend on how she performs here."
