Patrick is going to Arc Summer with Fine Margin

Patrick Mullins announced that Fine Margin would be returning to Britain to compete in the final of the Arc Summer Novices’ Brush Hurdle Series after securing a win at Worcester on Monday.

This was Mullins' first time racing at the track, where he led for most of the race on the 10-11 joint-favourite, trained by his father Willie. Despite facing a challenge from his main rival Bob Bob Ricard between the final two flights, Mullins was able to push his mount to victory by three lengths.

Reflecting on the race, Mullins explained that Fine Margin had been unpredictable in previous races, leading to the decision to use cheekpieces. However, the horse's strong jumping led Mullins to let him take the lead and maintain a steady pace throughout the race.

Despite a potential race at Newton Abbot on Monday, Mullins confirmed that Fine Margin would be returning for the final of the series in Britain.
