O’Brien Targets Troy's Breeders' Cup Classic Despite Fallon's Worries

Joseph O’Brien believes that City of Troy is ideally suited for the Breeders’ Cup Classic, describing him as the "right type" ahead of what could be a thrilling race at Del Mar on Saturday. With a rich history of involvement in the Breeders’ Cup as a jockey and trainer, Joseph has experienced the highs and lows of the event, including a narrow third-place finish in 2013. This year, without a horse to run, he’s eager to witness history as City of Troy, the offspring of Justify, seeks to fulfil his father Aidan O’Brien's long-standing ambition of winning the $7 million race.

However, Kieren Fallon, a former champion jockey, shared his reservations about City of Troy's ability to handle the dirt track.
