John Gosden believes that the Dubai Turf race, specifically the distance of nine furlongs, will be an ideal fit for Nashwa. The talented mare has already proven herself in Group One races over both a mile and 10 furlongs, demonstrating her adaptability. However, it is the unique distance of one mile and a furlong that could prove to be perfect for the five-year-old.
“She’s a hugely talented filly and she’s built like a strong colt,” said Gosden. “She’s run some very good races and she’s won some lovely races, Prix de Dianes and things, and she ran a good race in the Irish Champion Stakes when she didn’t get the rub of the green in third behind Auguste Rodin.”
