Live In The Dream shall head to Coral Charge following a fall in Haydock

After a disappointing showing at the Achilles Stakes in Haydock, Live In The Dream will now head to the Coral Charge at Sandown on Eclipse day. 

Despite being a favourite in the Listed event, the five-year-old stumbled leaving the stalls and suffered bruising on his off-side and lower rib cage. 

Trainer Adam West believes this incident dashed Live In The Dream's chances of winning the race, as his confidence was shaken. 

However, the injury is not serious and Live In The Dream is expected to recover in time for the upcoming races, including the defence of his Nunthorpe Stakes title in August. 

West plans to continue with the course mapped out for Live in the Dream, with a focus on the Coral Charge at Sandown and then York. 

Despite the setback at Haydock, West remains hopeful for the future races and is confident that Live In The Dream will bounce back.
