King George race is on the table for Sunway
Sunway has shown great promise by finishing second in the Irish Derby, putting him on track for the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes. Despite a slow start to the season, the Galiway colt impressed at the Curragh, narrowly missing out on victory to Los Angeles.
Trainer David Menuisier expressed confidence in Sunway's ability and hopes to see him compete in the King George. Menuisier acknowledged that Sunway needed some time to get back into form, but was pleased with his progress in recent races.
Menuisier also discussed his disappointment with Devil's Point's performance in the Prix Jean Prat, attributing it to the fast ground. He plans to regroup and try again with Devil's Point in the future.
