Clive Cox has the opportunity to aim for the top sprints in the UK this summer with Diligent Harry after a strong performance on Saturday at the Dubai World Cup night at Meydan.
After winning back-to-back races on the all-weather in February, the six-year-old took on a more formidable challenge in the Al Quoz Sprint at Group One level. Despite finishing third behind Hong Kong's California Spangle and Charlie Appleby's Star Of Mystery, the horse performed admirably and earned well-deserved recognition.
Diligent Harry is expected to make an appearance at Royal Ascot, possibly including the 1895 Duke of York Stakes at the Dante meeting as part of his journey.
