Impaire Et Passe Bypasses Bob Olinger and Withstands Investigation

Impaire Et Passe emerged victorious in the William Hill Aintree Hurdle following an extensive examination by the stewards.

In an exciting Grade One conclusion, the highly favoured horse trained by Willie Mullins effortlessly approached the final bend. However, instead of running directly to the finish line, the horse-faced tough competition from Langer Dan and Bob Olinger.

Impaire Et Passe encountered Langer Dan after the race, and Bob Olinger veered towards the centre, trapping him in between.

Upon reaching the finish line, the judge separated the three competitors. Impaire Et Passe emerged as the winner by a narrow margin, with Bob Olinger coming in just behind, followed closely by Langer Dan.

Following a thorough investigation by the stewards, Impaire Et Passe emerged as the victor under jockey Paul Townend's guidance, bringing immense delight to Mullins.

"The wait felt quite long, but I had complete confidence that we would retain it once we observed the aerial perspective. We had a great opportunity. Paul and Harry (Skelton on Langer Dan) cleared the final hurdle smoothly, and I believed it would be challenging to alter the outcome. Paul believed he was lingering in the forefront, which is a legitimate justification, thus making it difficult to alter. I'm curious to know the outcome. This season hasn't gone as planned, but having him return to win a Grade One and a race of this magnitude is truly remarkable. Nevertheless, Rachael (Blackmore on Bob Olinger) undeniably delivered an exceptional performance despite not emerging as the victor."
