Henderson is Hopeful that Sir Gino will be able to Put the Stable's Problems at Cheltenham to Rest

Sir Gino and Shishkin are ready for Aintree, and Nicky Henderson hopes to know by Thursday evening whether they are healthy.

Henderson had a horrible week in the Cotswolds and pulled out all his top runners to be cautious after competing on Wednesday.

"Like before Cheltenham, we've kept testing them, and everything is fine—that's the only worry. It continues saying everything is OK. After finishing the last work, the horses are bright and perky, and we're excited.", said Henderson.

"Our fate will be clear soon. Will it happen or not by Thursday night? We were apprehensive, but their work and home life seemed to have significantly improved. We've hardly run anything, but the two reasons are that at Hereford today, I couldn't make an entry on the card because I couldn't find a horse qualified to run in any race, and the ground is terrible, so we'll start at Aintree."

Sir Gino, who was odds-on for the Triumph Hurdle, will enter the Boodles Anniversary 4-Y-O Juvenile Hurdle first after a calm ten days of training.

"He was a horse that I honestly couldn't find anything wrong with, but we'd lost all confidence, and I couldn't run a young horse like him," Henderson told Sky Sports Racing.

"We've said he's good, and I couldn't risk him. We took Sir Gino, Shishkin, and Shanagh Bob out, all his, but after two days, they could have been more helpful. Joe Donnelly was great."
