Gregory might head to France

Gregory might head to France for the Prix du Cadran on Arc weekend if the ground conditions are favourable. Trained by John and Thady Gosden, the son of Golden Horn impressed with a Queen's Vase win at Royal Ascot and a solid fifth in the St Leger. This year, his only setback was a disappointing run in the Gold Cup, but he performed well in the Goodwood Cup and Lonsdale Cup.

Following a good run behind Vauban at York, his team is considering the Cadran to test his stamina over two and a half miles, hoping for dry ground in ParisLongchamp. Richard Brown, Wathnan's European racing manager, noted that Gregory needs quick ground and the Cadran is a potential fit.

Courage Mon Ami, also owned by Wathnan, could join Gregory at the Cadran if he continues to progress well after a setback.
