Everlasting`s triumph at Navan

Everlasting, trained by Aidan O'Brien, capitalised on a drop in class to a listed company in the Darley Irish EBF Kooyonga Stakes at Navan. Despite facing tough competition earlier in the season, she showed promise with a fourth-place finish in the Park Express Stakes and a close third in the Salsabil Stakes behind Oaks winner Ezeliya.

After a disappointing run in the Irish 1,000 Guineas, Everlasting was sent off as the 10-11 favourite in the Kooyonga Stakes. Jockey Ryan Moore guided her to victory, leading the race in the final furlong and holding off a late challenge from Asian Daze to win by half a length.

Stable representative Chris Armstrong praised Moore's ride and hinted at future plans for Everlasting, including a possible entry in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. Despite her potential, the team will carefully consider her next steps to ensure her continued development and success in higher-level races.

Overall, Everlasting's victory at Navan showcased her talent and potential for future success in Group races, and the team is excited for what lies ahead for this promising filly.
