Perfect Part, the surprising 125-1 winner of the Hilary Needler, will be returning to Beverley next week before taking on the Lowther Stakes at York. Trainer Brian Ellison is confident in the Mehmas filly after a strong performance at Royal Ascot, where the runner-up Maw Lam finished third in the Queen Mary.
Ellison believes he has a promising prospect in Perfect Part and is pleased with the form boost from Ascot. The decision was made to skip Ascot and opt for an easier race at Beverley before stepping up to the Lowther Stakes.
Despite initial doubts about her chances, Ellison was impressed by Perfect Part's debut win and is now looking forward to her next races. He praised her comfortable victory and believes the extra week between races will benefit her development.
With high hopes for Perfect Part's future performances, Ellison looks forward to seeing her compete at Beverley and then taking on the challenge of the Lowther Stakes at York.
