Ejaabiyah shall skip Ascot and go for Juddmonte Irish Oaks

Ejaabiyah showcased her talent and potential for the Juddmonte Irish Oaks with a dominant victory at Salisbury. The daughter of Frankel caught the eye with a six-length win on her debut at Kempton last year. Despite a strong performance in the Haras De Bouquetot Fillies’ Trial Stakes at Newbury, where she faced tough competition, trainer Roger Varian opted to skip Royal Ascot and instead build experience in the Darley EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes.

Following another impressive victory at Salisbury, Varian hinted at a potential return to top company and a Classic assignment for Ejaabiyah. James Doyle, who rode the filly to victory, praised her progress and ability to stay on for longer distances. While her win at Salisbury didn't reveal much new information about her capabilities, it provided valuable racecourse experience that will benefit her in future competitions. Varian and the ownership team are considering a potential run in the Irish Oaks, where Ejaabiyah could face her toughest challenge yet.
