Eight runners will be competing in Pretty Polly Stakes

The upcoming Group 1 Cairn Community Games Pretty Polly Stakes is set to feature a competitive field of eight runners at the Curragh on Saturday.

Among the contenders are strong British representatives such as Bluestocking trained by Ralph Beckett and Emily Upjohn trained by John and Thady Gosden. Bluestocking, owned by Juddmonte, was a close second in the Juddmonte Irish Oaks last year, while Emily Upjohn missed the same race two years ago but is ready to compete in this year's Group 1 contest.

John Gosden, a previous winner of the race with horses like Del Deya, Dar Re Mi, and Izzi Top, is optimistic about Emily Upjohn's chances after a slow start to the season. Ralph Beckett, who recently won the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby with Westover, is also looking forward to racing Bluestocking in the Pretty Polly Stakes.

In addition to these contenders, British-trained Stay Alert, Tasmania, and Francophone will also be competing in the race. Lumiere Rock and Maxux from Joseph O'Brien's stable, as well as Content from Aidan O'Brien's stable, complete the field for what promises to be an exciting renewal of the Pretty Polly Stakes.
