Dermont shall decide on the next target of Ezeliya next week
A decision on the next target for Oaks heroine Ezeliya is expected to be made next week.
Trainer Dermot Weld has emphasised that they are in no hurry and that all options are being considered for the Aga Khan-owned filly, who impressed with a three-length victory over Dance Sequence at Epsom.
This win brought her record to three wins from four starts. The daughter of Dubawi is now as short as 8-1 for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
The Prix Vermeille has been mentioned as a potential prep race for the Arc, and she also holds an entry for the Irish Oaks.
Speaking after a winner at the Curragh on Wednesday, Weld said: “She’s in great form, but we won’t decide until next week. There is no rush.”
