Curious Bride secured her third career win in the Private Suites
Curious Bride, trained by Eamonn O'Connell, secured her third career win with a strong performance in the Private Suites At Limerick Racecourse Handicap. The seven-year-old mare, who was the runner-up over the same course and distance in her last race, showed her potential by finishing in fourth place in a recent race at Ballinrobe.
Under the guidance of jockey Colin Keane, Curious Bride was held back in the middle of the pack before making her move in the straight. Despite facing tough competition from Killeemore Lad, she managed to pull ahead in the final furlong and crossed the finish line with a three-and-a-quarter length lead.
Reflecting on the race, Eamonn O'Connell expressed his satisfaction with Curious Bride's performance and hinted at future plans for the talented mare. He mentioned that she has the potential to compete in shorter races as well, and that they will focus on finding more opportunities for her on the flat. O'Connell also noted that Curious Bride prefers good ground conditions and that they will consider racing her on the all-weather track in the future.
