Cunha plans to run Sensorium at Doncaster

Sensorium has already proven to be a valuable asset for his connections, and trainer Dylan Cunha is confident that there's still more to come from the promising juvenile.

The Kodiac colt secured his first win at Beverley in July and followed up with a commendable third-place finish behind Diligently and Arizona Blaze in a lucrative sales race at York.

Cunha commented: "He performed exceptionally well, and we’re very pleased with him. He had a tremendous race despite being drawn on the wrong side. There was a clear track bias that week, and we were drawn 21, which was not ideal. Nevertheless, finishing third and earning over £61,000 is fantastic."

Looking ahead, Cunha plans to run Sensorium at Doncaster during St Leger week in a handicap, with the potential for a Listed race at York if successful.

"He’s a promising horse, and he’s still a colt, so there’s plenty of room for improvement," Cunha added.

Cunha is also targeting Group Three success with the lightly-raced four-year-old Prague, who will compete in the Superior Mile at Haydock this weekend. Purchased from Aidan O’Brien’s yard after not racing at Ballydoyle, the Galileo colt impressed on debut with a win at Sandown in June.

He followed up with a respectable fourth in a Listed race and a solid fifth behind Haunted Dream at Goodwood, finishing close behind.

Cunha said: "Prague is showing promise, though he still needs to learn to settle. He’s heading to Haydock for a Group Three on Saturday and looks likely to benefit from the rain. He’s in excellent form and ready for the race."

Reflecting on Prague's recent performances, Cunha noted: "His recent runs have been solid. His rating increased to 103 after his second outing and then to 106 following his last run, which indicates that the handicapper believes he’s improving. Those ratings suggest he’s been performing well. He’s definitely still improving, and with the rain expected, he should get the ground he prefers. Hopefully, he can secure a win—more rain would only help."
