Cox heads for Newmarket with Jasour

Clive Cox is excited for Newmarket with Royal Ascot third Jasour, set for a possible Commonwealth Cup rematch with Inisherin in the My Pension Expert July Cup.

July Stakes winner as a juvenile, son of Havana Grey, fits well at Headquarters.

He's found form again after a Group Two win at two, winning at Ascot's Pavilion Stakes and taking a solid third at Royal in Group One.

Cox was pleased despite Jasour's keen start, eyeing improvement.

Kerdos pleased Cox with a credible fifth in the King Charles III Stakes at Royal, backing up a Temple Stakes win at Haydock.

Exciting prospects ahead for Kerdos and Jasour post-Ascot.
