Cooper praised the performance of Uxmal

Uxmal, trained by Joseph O’Brien and owned by the Niarchos family, capped off Royal Ascot with a commanding victory in the Queen Alexandra Stakes, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Having shown promise with a win at Killarney, Uxmal stepped up impressively to the longest race on the British calendar. At odds of 2-1, he demonstrated exceptional stamina, surging five lengths ahead under Dylan Browne McMonagle's skilled guidance.

The triumph sparked aspirations of competing in the prestigious Gold Cup at Royal Ascot in 2025. However, before such ambitions materialise, the five-year-old will face Group company challenges in upcoming races. Entries include the Comer Group International Curragh Cup on July 20 and the Al Shaqab Goodwood Cup on July 30, where his potential will be further tested.
