Connections praised Arrest's performance following a defeat at Newmarket

Arrest, a son of Frankel, is expected to return to the trip after finishing second in the Princess of Wales's Stakes at Newmarket. 

Despite being the favourite for last year's Derby and finishing second in the St Leger, Arrest has yet to secure a win in three starts this year. 

After a strong showing at Chester and a respectable second place in the July course, Arrest may now be aimed at the Irish St Leger on September 16. Juddmonte's European racing manager, Barry Mahon, praised Arrest's performance and mentioned potential future races like the Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup in October. 

Time Lock, another Juddmonte-owned horse, will be heading to the Qatar Goodwood Festival in search of black type as part of her final campaign before retirement. Both horses will continue to compete at a high level in group company before hanging up their racing shoes.
