Triumphs marked Festival Trials Day at Cheltenham for the Mullins clan. They also saw an impressive showing from Freddie Gingell. Willie Mullins had two winners. They were Capodanno, who won the Cotswold Chase, and Lossiemouth, who dominated a hurdle race. These wins make Lossiemouth the favorite for the Mares' Hurdle at the Festival. Meanwhile, Noble Yeats, Emmet Mullins' National winner, added Cleeve Hurdle glory. He narrowly denied Paisley Park a fourth win. Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden paired up for a win with Ginny's Destiny. Cobden eyes the jockeys' title race and Nicholls thinks about his stable's prospects against Gaelic Warrior. Nicky Henderson, with mixed results, reflected on a promising win by Sir Gino, setting sights on the Triumph Hurdle in March
