Checkandchallenge’s next port of call is Wolferton
William Knight hopes for rain before Checkandchallenge competes in the Wolferton Stakes at Royal Ascot. The five-year-old finished last in the Prix d’Ispahan in May, but Knight is pleased with his form leading up to the upcoming race.
Although the Wolferton Stakes is a drop in grade, Checkandchallenge prefers a straight course. However, Knight is willing to take a chance on the round course, as long as there is some juice in the ground.
Checkandchallenge has previously won a Group Three race and finished fourth twice at Group One level at Ascot. Knight believes his horse is in good form and is optimistic about their chances.
On the other hand, Dual Identity may skip Royal Ascot and opt for the Listen To BetMGM On talkSPORT Handicap at Sandown on Saturday. The horse, who won over course and distance last time out, is likely to race at Sandown as he has had success at the track before.
