Boughey stays optimistic of Believing's chances in the Flying Five

George Boughey is optimistic about Believing's chances in the Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh, believing it could be her best shot at being the favourite in a Group One race later this season. Believing had a successful month in June, winning the Achilles Stakes at Haydock and finishing fourth in two races at Royal Ascot. Boughey had high hopes for Believing before the season began, and those plans are still intact.

Believing is scheduled to compete in the Barberstown Castle Sapphire Stakes and the King George Qatar Stakes before heading to the Flying Five Stakes on September 15. Boughey is impressed with Believing's resilience and versatility and believes she has the potential to excel at the highest level.

Saffron House also had a successful outing at Royal Ascot, with Soprano winning the Sandringham Stakes. Boughey praised the work put into Soprano and hinted at her potential as a miler. She may compete in the Coral Distaff at Sandown before returning to Pattern Company this summer.

Pentle Bay put in a strong performance in the Chesham Stakes, finishing behind the impressive Bedtime Story. Boughey hinted at plans for Pentle Bay to potentially race in Australia in the future. Fouroneohfever also impressed in the King George V Stakes and may make a quick return to the track at either Haydock or Sandown. Boughey remains optimistic about the future prospects of his horses.
