Big Evs shall contest in Charles III to become the two-time winner

Big Evs, trained by Mick Appleby, achieved a significant victory at the Breeders' Cup, marking a turning point in his career. Now, the speedy horse is aiming to secure a second win at Royal Ascot in the King Charles III Stakes.

Following triumphs in the Windsor Castle, Molecomb, and Flying Childers races, Big Evs faced his biggest moment at Santa Anita. His team is already looking ahead to a potential return to the Breeders' Cup later in the year. However, the focus is currently on establishing Big Evs as a star in sprinting by achieving back-to-back wins at Royal Ascot.

Mick Appleby expressed confidence in Big Evs's form leading up to the King Charles III Stakes, acknowledging the competition but emphasising the horse's raw speed. A recent victory at York in the Westow Stakes showcased Big Evs's champion qualities and erased any doubts about a disappointing performance in the past.

Big Evs will face competition from horses like Crimson Advocate, Rogue Lightning, and Valiant Force at Royal Ascot. With a strong field vying for victory, the race promises to be a thrilling spectacle for fans of sprinting. Trainers like John and Thady Gosden, Tom Clover, and Ed Bethell have high hopes for their respective horses in the prestigious event.

Asfoora, an Australian raider, is aiming for improvement at Ascot after a lacklustre performance at Haydock. Trainer Henry Dwyer is optimistic about her chances and hopes to see her compete at the top level. Australian sprinter Nature Strip, trained by Henry Candy, is seeking redemption after a luckless fourth-place finish in the previous year's competition.

The King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot is set to be a showcase of speed, talent, and determination as top sprinters strive for victory on the prestigious stage. Fans can expect an exciting race with high stakes and fierce competition among the contenders.
