As a Result of His Recent Injury Fight, Aidan Coleman Has Announced His Retirement

Aidan Coleman has decided to retire from horse racing due to a knee injury that he has been unable to fully recover from.

The individual, aged 35, experienced a fall at Worcester in June and has been working hard to make a comeback ever since. They have undergone multiple surgeries on their knee and a fractured tibia.

Coleman, who will likely be most remembered for his connection to the recently retired Paisley Park, has gone through an extensive rehabilitation process but has admitted that he will not be able to recover and continue his riding career fully.

He mentioned to Racing TV's Luck On Sunday that the initial outlook for his return to riding was bleak.

Coleman had a fruitful partnership at the beginning of his career with Venetia Williams. Still, he failed to recognise the incredible 100/1 Grand National champion Mon Mome, opting instead for his fellow stablemate Stan.

Throughout an impressive career, Emma Lavelle's Paisley Park achieved numerous victories, including three consecutive wins in the Long Walk Hurdle and a triumph in the Stayers' Hurdle in 2019.

Coleman also secured the opportunities to ride Epatante, claiming victory in an Aintree Hurdle and two Fighting Fifths, and Jonbon, with whom he achieved success in several Grade One races.
