Aidan O'Brien made the right choice with Exactly

Plenty of money was backing once-raced Exactly (15/8f) throughout the day in the opening juvenile fillies' maiden race, and it proved to be a wise choice. Aidan O'Brien's Frankel filly put her debut ninth at the Curragh behind her with an impressive performance.

Seamie Heffernan used the experience of 80-rated Queens Fury to set a quick pace in the extended 7f contest. Queens Fury was several lengths ahead past the three pole, but the closers started to catch up in the final furlong. Exactly and Chantez made their move alongside Queens Fury inside the final furlong.

Exactly found a gap along the rail and managed to pull ahead of Chantez, winning by a head with Billy Lee on board. Chantez, who was well-backed at 11/2 - 3/1, showed promise on debut, finishing closely behind. Queens Fury came in third, three and a quarter lengths behind, at 8/1.

Stable representative Chris Armstrong praised Billy's ride and mentioned that Exactly had improved since her debut. He expressed excitement for her future races, suggesting she could be a contender for races like the Debutante or Flame Of Tara. Armstrong also highlighted that Exactly may benefit from longer distances in the future.

Overall, it was a satisfying win for the team, especially since it was Billy's first win for Aidan O'Brien.
