Under the tutelage of Alan King, the talented chaser showcased a remarkable return to form with a commanding front-running victory at Newbury, marking his first win since the 2022 Tingle Creek. Breaking a streak of six consecutive defeats, the 10-year-old has emerged as the general 8-1 third-favourite for the Champion Chase, trailing behind El Fabiolo and Jonbon.
Reflecting on Edwardstone's resurgence, Cannon expressed confidence in the horse's capabilities and strategic adjustments for the upcoming challenge.
