In a thrilling battle at Leopardstown, Transcending Glory narrowly secured victory in the Ryans Cleaning Handicap after a fierce duel with Quadruple.
Under Johnny Murtagh, Cotai Glory took the lead early on, with Quadruple close behind. The two horses pulled away from the pack, with Quadruple relentlessly chasing Transcending Glory down the final furlong.
In a neck-and-neck finish, Transcending Glory crossed the line first, edging out Quadruple by a nose. Jockey Ben Coen praised Transcending Glory for his fighting spirit and noted his improvement throughout the year.
This win marked Transcending Glory's second victory of the year, following a previous win at Dundalk in April.
