Touch Me Not added another chapter to Gordon Elliott's dominance in the BetVictor Craddockstown Novice Chase, producing a commanding performance to defeat his better-fancied stablemate, Farren Glory, by six lengths.
Ridden confidently by Sam Ewing, Touch Me Not led from the front with a flawless jumping display. After taking a hiatus and turning for home, the 8-1 shot found plenty in the final stretch to seal victory in the two-mile Grade Two contest. This triumph marked Elliott's fourth win in the race over the past five years, following successes with Felix Desjy, Riviere D’etel, and Imagine.
The race wasn’t without drama, as early on, Fascile Mode—a horse who had previously beaten Touch Me Not at Punchestown—fell and brought down Jordans, leaving Touch Me Not in control of the pace.
