Sea The Thunder:
Fresh off his victory at Royal Ascot last week, Hector Crouch is set to ride another promising three-year-old trained by Ralph Beckett in an upcoming historical race. Sea The Thunder, though still a maiden, has shown great consistency and recent strong performances, finishing a close second in his last race at Leicester. Despite not having won yet, Sea The Thunder has proven his ability to stay the distance and is well-positioned for success in the upcoming race. With a talented jockey-trainer partnership behind him, a strong run is expected from Sea The Thunder.
Island Native:
Island Native is currently in excellent condition, having secured two strong second-place finishes in his last two races. However, it seems that this upcoming race may be his best opportunity for a win. During his last outing, he struggled with stamina while racing over ten furlongs and ultimately faded towards the end. With a return to a mile distance, he is expected to perform better, especially considering he is a front-runner. Another advantage for Island Native is his favourable position in stall one, which should allow him to take the lead easily. With Tom Marquand as his jockey, Island Native has a solid chance of success, being only one pound higher in his rating.
