Connections are in no rush to decide Sparkling Plenty's next move after her commendable third-place finish in the Nassau Stakes. Recently transferred to Al Shaqab Racing, the Prix de Diane winner was a strong performer at Goodwood, finishing just a length behind the winner.
Racing consultant Rupert Pritchard-Gordon noted that the filly will be given time to recover before plans are made. Sparkling Plenty will have a short break to refresh after her summer campaign, which included a challenging journey and the impact of a heatwave in France.
Pritchard-Gordon emphasised that her team is pleased with her performance and will not rush a decision on her next race. Future options include the Prix Vermeille and potentially races on Arc weekend, with Sparkling Plenty likely to have several top-class opportunities both at home and abroad.
