Robson is stepping up to a new chapter in his career

Paul Robson is looking forward to a new chapter in his career as he transitions from the Scottish Borders to Hazelrigg, Rose Dobbin's former training base.

A former member of the riding fraternity, Robson was forced to retire due to injury, but has successfully combined his training career with his undertaking business. He is well-acquainted with Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Henrietta Knight, who serves as a friend and mentor to him.

With the success of Cannock Park last season bringing attention to his set-up, Robson is now focused on expanding his business. He is enthusiastic about the move to the high-spec training centre in Northumberland and is eager to start running his horses there.

Robson is determined to achieve big things as a trainer and believes that Hazelrigg is the perfect place for him to do so. He currently has 32 horses in his yard and has orders for six more. He is not afraid to travel south with his string if the right opportunities arise.

His first runner from Hazelrigg will be Arctic Ambition at Worcester on Monday, followed by Inoue at Uttoxeter on Tuesday. Robson is excited about the possibilities that come with the move to Northumbria, and is confident that it will help him scale up his operation and compete at a higher level in the jump racing industry.
